2009-01-19 : 10 YEARS OF CLUB TRANSMEDIALE
Ready for an anniversary party? Club Transmediale, the music festival parallel to Berlin's great experimental art and video event Transmediale, is turning 10 years old as well! (like us!) And to celebrate their birthday they scheduled more than a week of interesting music. Artists such as Wolfgang Voigt, founder of the music label Kompakt, Maga Bo and Filastline for a funk mundial night, Thomas Fehlmann (The Orb) or T.Raumschmiere as main artists for a night with the label Shitkatapult, Pan Sonic headlining some japanese bands on a special noisy day, but also a drone and metal night (like the past year) with bands like Aethenor and Asva, and more noise (in the pop version) by one of the music revelations from past year: Fuck Buttons. There will be house, elektro, neu rave and dubstep too! a long list including: Skream, Benga, Zombie Zombie, The Emperor Machine, Tim Exile, etc.

Not only music. In CTM you can also find interesting conferences, art installations, films and even a one day Creative Independents Network Market, where Belio Magazine will be attending. Stands will be available on Saturday 31. January from 14:00 - 19:00 in Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien for aficionados of independent music and media culture who wish to make their projects, products and activities known to a wider audience and meet fellow activists.
All that and much more information on the official website: http://www.clubtransmediale.de
If you have the chance to be in Berlin, don't miss it! The great event starts on next thursday 22th.
