2010-07-15 : COLOR IN BERLIN
If there would be a referendum to decide whether the city of Berlin is visually pretty or not, sure the discussion would last months... People would say it's a gray place, full of monolithic and boring buildings, dirty and worn areas, poorly maintained squat houses. There's no doubt. But many people would say that its charm lies in the details, charming spots that overlap between the buildings, but especially a magical pseudo-industrial atmosphere that combines beauty and abandoned at the same time. The work of the photographer Matthias Heiderich is definitely the kind of weight that would balance the decision towards a beautiful Berlin.
